What if we all learned about grief before we experienced it? In this class you will learn about the language of grief, types of grieving, and Jewish rituals surrounding death.

How can we better understand what all of us will go through and support those who are
experiencing a major loss? This class is based on teachings of Elizabeth Kubler Ross and David Kessler.

Rabbi Sandra Charak works with individuals and their families in the process of dying, offers spiritual counseling, and conducts services in the community, particularly nursing homes. She has studied death, dying, and grief through the Miss Foundation and with renowned grief therapist David Kessler.

Starts After Mothers Day, Five (5) Tuesdays, May 23-June 20 from 7:00-8:15 p.m. $50 members/$75 non-members.
